Weekly review: Week ending May 28, 2021

| review, weekly
  • Steno:
    • I started making a command string interface for Emacs.
    • I made an Anki deck of my most frequent words and started practicing them.
    • I'm still drilling basic words and vowels, and working on making compound letters part of muscle memory. I'm getting a little tripped up by vowels. Progress, though! I can write journal entries.
    • I figured out how to display the last Clippy suggestion using a stroke. This will let me keep the suggestions window closed most of the time.
    • I made a Plover command that creates an Anki card for the last Clippy suggestion.
    • I made cheat sheets for Plover in Emacs.
    • I made a Plover plugin that retroactively translates words into strokes. It was my first time to write a Plover macro.
  • Household:
    • I bought two Sweet Million cherry tomatoes.
    • We had ssam. It was so yummy!
    • The periwinkle has started to grow roots.
    • I moved plants into bigger pots.
